Rye Arts and Crafts Fair

When is it?

Our first art fair will take place on 1st April 2023. Doors will be open 10am til 4pm.

Where is it?

The event will be held at the Rye Community Centre, Conduit Hill.

What is it?

The Rye Arts and Crafts Fair is a free-to-enter event, however, there will be a collection bucket for the Community Centre, should you wish to donate. Our art fair is a great opportunity to explore the incredible local talent we have in Rye and the surrounding areas, whilst also getting to meet the artists behind the fabulous work on display! There will be an eclectic range of vendors from illustrators to jewellery makers and ceramicists to a stained glass artist. We even have a children’s book writer and illustrator, who will be doing book readings throughout the day, so there’s certainly something for everyone!

Our aim is to raise money for the Community Centre in our hometown and also give ourselves and our creative friends another avenue to advertise and sell their work, as well as meet new creatives and add new faces to the already rich art scene in Rye.

Who’s behind the Rye Arts and Crafts Fair?

Hi! I’m Charlotte Rose, an artist and illustrator living in Rye. Together with Jackie Brooks, we have organised this arts fair with the ambition of running 3 or 4 fairs per year.
